PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Josh, revise standard screen desktop elements and text-image element or by ResponsivImage Replace.

Felix, just  in case you have my ImageMarker 1.0b1 plugin installed, try to remove it – it *might* be the cause of the observed issue.

edit: and please report back if it was.

Just tested. Everything works fine here (PHP 5.3.3). Must be something different.

In Bootstrap Carousel Gallery automatic storage will not work if you change only autostart or speed.

Am I the only such things the (error) notice?

Hello Josh

Sorry, for my harsh words. However, I really do not know how I can use this element, that it is a reasonable picture. The images are cut ALWAYS and only a small portion of the image visible. Of course, depending on the size of the image. However, I invite all images in the size of minimum 1200px.

Maybe you can show us how to use this element properly.

Visible 400x300px

Image is 1200x800px

How can I get this in the width of 400x300px now ???

Tested in Firefox 43.

The image element/editor obviously doesn't handle everything we need for editing images yet. If you know you want an image to be 400x300px, then I would suggest editing it in something like GIMP before uploading it to your Typesetter installation.

For the time being, we still can have simple responsive images (without any plugin) quite easily with our existing tools.

So, for everyone interested:

  • Just add an Editable Text section.
  • Add a standard image to the content using CKEditor's image button, go to the "Advanced" tab of the image dialog and add the following to the Style field:
width:100%!important; height:auto!important; if you want your image to even scale up to the section's width, or
max-width:100%!important; height:auto!important; if you only want the image to scale down to fit into the section.

That's all.

We can even use finder (the built-in file manager) to create a copy of an image and crop/resize it for our need, so no local image editing prior to uploading is even required.

My 5 cent):

or just add "img-responsive" in class field in  advance tab and delete image pixel sizes in stantart tab (for bootstrap themes)

Yes, that's also a possibility.

Note: Every time you edit the image (change source, scale it, etc.) CKEditor will re-insert the width and height attributes, so always mind to clear the respective fields.

So there is another solution. Man puts the image in a Section wrapper and gives an example gpCol-4.

Only this can not be the final solution and hope the image module will be revised anyway Josh.

Please can the text-image element that image element pack in a Section wrapper. So it is suitable. Until the module of them have changed. There is a small but effective measure.

Thank you for your help.

<div class="Wrapper_section">
