Hi,

I just noticed that in 'simple black' and 'point one five' templates the image desriptions will not show up in their original length. It is the image description which you can edit when insering/removing/editing an image for the gallery. Only one line of description will be visible in these templates, the rest is somehow cut off.  It seems to work all right in 'black header', 'bordered htree' and 'tan header'.

[edit]:just figured out that this only occurs when having an image description which is has a very long word included which is longer than one row (e.g. 'xxx Text/Beschreibung/Maße usw.' but this one will be sidplayed correct: 'xxx Text/Beschreibung/Maßeusw.'  hmmm. looks strange to me....)

Any ideas?

Carsten.

Hmm, interesting. I just tested it on my end and found the same thing... working on it now.

The use of float for positioning is the culprit here. I've made some change if you'd like to try them. The relevant CSS is in the /include/css/additional.css file. Replace the CSS for .gp_gallery with the following.

.gp_gallery{     clear:both;     } .gp_gallery li{     float:left;     width:20em;     overflow:hidden;     list-style:none;     display:inline-block;     margin:0 1em 1em 0;     padding:.5em .5em 0 .5em;     border:1px solid #ccc;     height:110px;     -moz-border-radius: 9px;     -webkit-border-radius: 9px;     -o-border-radius: 9px;     border-radius:9px;     background-color:#F1F1F1;     background:#fafafa url(../imgs/list_back.png) bottom repeat-x;     color:#333;     position:relative;     } .gp_gallery div{     margin-left:110px;     } .gp_gallery img{     left:10px;     top:10px;     position:absolute;     margin:0 1em 1em 0;     }

Hi,

with the above mentioned change in /include/css/additional.css I just noticed that the 'Special_Galleries' page will not be displayed correct anymore. The no. of images and image-text (e.g. 3 Images) moved to the left and is now in the same position as the preview thumbnail (on top of it)?!?

Thanks for catching that. I just updated the html output for the galleries page to fit with the new css.
