Hi, I am hoping somebody is able to help me.

I am using the OneMore Theme which I have managed to customise successfully but I would like to make a change to the img_logo which is displayed at the top of the page.

I know that I cannot add a Flash banner within the CSS for the template but I am struggling to embed the Flash into the HTML also.

Is it possible to add a Flash banner to the Div tag within the template.php page. If so can anyone explain how this is done as I have tried all possible ways with my limited knowledge of CSS but as yet have been unable to get the Flash to load

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Adding flash is almost as easy as adding an image to a template file. Here's a short guide (not specific to gpeasy). Just make sure the path of the swf object points to the right place and you're set.

Hi Josh

Thanks for your response.

I am still banging my head against a wall with this....Maybe I'm missing something

Would I need to alter the template.css so that the Flash appears in the correct place on the page as I need the Flash to appear on each page within the site in place of the img_logo

I have followed the instructions provided in your link above but Flash still will not load

The CSS is as follows:

#img_logo {
float:right;
width:620px;
height:188px;
background: url(images/motif.png)no-repeat right bottom;
}

The DIV is as follows:

<div id="img_logo">

I hope I am making myself clear about what I need to do

If you need to see the site that I intend to do this on, url is http://www.princeandking.netne.net/

Thanks in advance

In the ckeditor there is an option to add a flash object. Just edit the logo area and browse to the uploaded file on the server.

Hi Jogai

Thanks for your reply.

If only it was that simple.  Unfortunately there is no ckeditor option to edit that part of the page within the template I am using.

I cant test it, because my current dev environment has some bugs, but it seems to me the header is editable in the one more theme.

I need to add a flash banner to the img_logo tag within the css or to the img_logo within the div tag on the actual template

I have included below a link to both the css and the template.php file so you can see what it is im trying to do

Any help on how to do this is muchly appreciated

So here's what I found in your css

#img_logo {
	float:right;
	width:620px;
	height:188px;
	position:no-repeat right bottom;
	background: <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="620" height="120" id="motif" align="right">
    <param name="movie" value="movie_name.swf"/>
    <!--[if !IE]>-->
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="images/motif.swf" width="620" height="120">
        <param name="movie" value="images/motif.swf"/>
...

Unfortunately, the background css property doesn't allow you to do this. All of the html code needs to be in your template.php file.
