gpEasy comes pre-installed with a contact form to allow your site's visitors send messages directly to your email address. To activate the contact form, some configuration is required.
Most users will find it a very simple process to activate the contact form.
Once you've entered a Recipient Address, try sending an email to yourself by going to the Special_Contact page of your site. You will most likely get a message confirming the submission of your email, but you should also confirm the actual delivery of your email by checking your inbox and potentially your spam folder.
Note: When checking your email to make sure the contact form is working, make sure to check your spam folder for any emails before assuming the form has not worked.
If the standard configuration does not work, there are other options on the Configuration page that you can use to set up according to what your web-host offers for email support. Options for delivery methods include:
If you're not sure which options to use, your hosting provider should be able to provide you with the necessary information.
gpEasy uses code from phpmailer to handle these settings and the delivery of email.
