Hi - I m new here but would like to suggest a way to work around the code the cms places in the head be excluded it from your own pages.

Is it anyway possibible for template.php to be loaded via a 100% iframe or something else into edit.php (edit is where the gpeasy and ckeditor are)

This way you avoid all the js the head function is including into the website and dont have to deal with possible conflicts due to code.

Probably not. The inline editor and other features need to be in the same frame.

I think I should note that the javascript used for admin functionality is only loaded for logged in administrators.

Javascript conflicts can certainly be a problem, but they can also easily be avoided by organizing code like this:

(function(){
   // javascript code here is protected from conflicts
   var variable_name...
})();
