Surely I'm doing something wrong?

• New TS5.1 instance, install and health checks OK
• On Heading Page / Child Page add a new File Include section
• Set the Search gadget. All is well
• Log out - search gadget disappears
• Log in - search gadget is back

If the gadget is added as a separate page it's visible regardless of login status.

(I'm actually concerned with the Subscribe gadget from the EasyNewsletter plugin, but the Search gadget shows the same behaviour.)

Any ideas what's happening?

Edit: Tried the steps above on an online TS demo site, the behaviour was the same there.

 

 

Have you clicked 'Publish Draft'?
