The the URL/LINK -button in the editor ? (Typesetter - version ? php-version ? ckeditor - Version ? ).
Can You please append an example-picture !
Dependent on the typesetter version You can replace the ckeditor with a new version (overwrite the directory)
Hello mabu, thank you for your reply.
As I wrote, if you click on the LINK icon/button to transform a text in hypertext, in the little panel (screenshot), the OK button doesn't work. I insert the url and... the button OK is dead.
Typesetter version 5.1.
CKeditor the version downloaded with Typesettercms 5.1 (I didn't install update or plugins).
Websites are on server using php 7.4 or higher. But I dont think the problem is the server. The problem is the browser. I'm experiencing this on Safari but not on Google Chrome (Mac OS: Monterey 12.4).
Maybe could I update something on Ckeditor?
Thank you for suggestions.
You should not use Typesetter 5.1 (which has bugs and isnt php7.4-ready - ckeditor version4.57 is outdated). This has been mentioned in several forum-posts.
** For update make a backup in the cms and save it to harddisk. Then rename the directory include to include.old and copy the include-directory (with subdirectories) of the new version with filezilla portable from Your harddisk (other ftp-clients may evtl. not transfer some file-formats).
After that You can update the /addons-directory and the themes-directory --- but do not touch the data-directory and do not overwrite themes, in which You made personal changes.
