Hello,
I do not like the built-in Recapcha GPeasy. Before, on wordpress, I used a terrible plugins, autonomous and no spam.
He was of the style, what letter between A and C for example.
With a question-are you a robot?
With math-4 +? = 9 (operations + - *)
Options to choose to activate the capcha to: Login form, comment form, ... etc ...
Possibility to combine or not.
Thanks
Diana

Hallo Diana ,yes recaptcha is quite a bothersome, many times must be reloaded cause it's unreadable. You can try that alternative contact form plugin, I just removed one critical bug out of that plugin ,there's an simple a+b question. It seems working good now again, maybe will also for you :) It are good suggestions, and also easy to implement, I think it will be good to attach it also to that plugin...

Hi, first you must obtain the pair of public and private key (they are 40 characters long strings) from the google (simply login to your google account and click add a new site and write there your site name, where you want validate the captchas). You can also backup these two keys in some text file. Then copy&paste these two keys into gpEasy's captcha configuration. After that your website can validate the words on the captcha image with the google's remote captcha server. Programming details are described for example here: Using reCAPTCHA with PHP

As Diana had wrritten "recapcha" and not Recaptcha (there is a website www.capcha.com) I'd assumed she was describing an alternative to the standard Recaptcha facility. I've already utilised Recaptcha but it's not much use, mainly because the code words can barely be read. I think that may be down to the Recaptcha image being in the wrong format. I've checked other applications of Recaptcha, and while reading the code words is not easy, it can be done. Very often the gpEasy implementation is not at all legible, and that's just a frustration for users, who decide not to bother. I'll look at the Google article you suggest, but I do think that the solution lies in getting the image proportions right.
Many thanks for your help.
