Got my WEBSITE under gpEASY and happy with it, but need download section.

Installed Download script but nothing going on, no any settings, nothing.

Where to upload files?

Where to set-up folders?

What to do next?

Nonetheless. . .

Here's a tutorial on gpEasy's folder structure. As far as uploading files in gpEasy, use the "uploaded files" link on the floating menu to manage your files or CKEditor "browse server" when editing a file.

I haven't used that plugin however, it should still use gpEasy uploaded files manager. Looks like it just adds additional info for the files.

Ok finally i manage all that.

There is 1 question.

When i go to...... my serwer http://192.168.0.105/~website/......  (*******.dyndns.org from outside) i see files listed in download section ..... in folders as well

But when i try dto download anything, script is cutting 192.168.0.105 or *****.dyndns.org   from address and link looks like:

http://~website/data/uploaded/download....   so "THERE IS NOT FILE"

How to block cutting address?

That is not a proper page in gpEasy. That's going to a subdirectory on your server. You cannot access the uploaded files manager unless you are logged in. Thus there is no "download page" built into gpEasy by default. You would need to make such a page up.

When You go to Wygaszacze folders there is 1 file try to download file.... nothing is going on, cause there is no file.

I see the url when I hover but I can't download the image, nor can I right click and copy the link, save as, etc. when using Chrome.

In Firefox I'm able to right click. Looks like you are using JavaScript to block this?

After I block your JS the response I get when trying to download that image is, "server not found." Maybe the extra "//" in the url?

I dont have ...  , i meaned ...bla bla blah (something).

Looks like something is cutting form begin "serw.dyndns.org" (from address) and adding extra "/" in the middle.

How to manage that? Nothing wrong with JS

I have no clue, I'm guessing you are using something that is generating the links and not creating the links manually?

If you created them manually then there would be no way gpEasy could affect them. If you are using something that is generating them then it isn't doing what you want.

I just upload script DOWNLOAD, not use anything else.

Disable that plugin and see if it is the problem.

Otherwise, if you manually create the link in gpEasy using CKEditor there shouldn't be any problems at all with the link--it's just a link.

I think I found your problem.

The source code shows the URL as: href="http:///~kasia/data/_uploaded/downloads/Wygaszacz//z9149280X,Laptopy-Vaio-z-serii-C.jpg"

My guess is that when you added the link you selected "type" in CKEditor as http and not a relative link.

I need plugin DOWNLOAD to other people to manage download for simple files.

I put gpEASY website  (the same one) on other server (with proper domain), problem is gone. I dont know what wrong with it.
