I don't want to hack the css for Artisteer because if I do that I will impact any gpEasy menu calls as the all use the same ul class. What I have done is to make a couple of pretty simple hacks to gpEasy that allow me to override the ul class and provide a custom link template for the <a link in fullmenu. I do this in my template like this:
// override menu ul class for artisteer
$config['menu']['ul_class'] = 'art-menu';
// the link template will make it compatible with the Artisteer css
$config['menu']['link_template'] = '<a href="#href_text#" #attr#><span class="l"></span><span class="r"></span><span class="t">#label#</span></a>';
// clear override
This approach allows me to override gpEasy and use FullMenu with the dropdown menu code/css produced by Artisteer yet not impact the normal gpEasy output. Seems that this might be a useful enhancement to gpEasy.
If anyone is interested I can provide the pretty simple hacks to the gpOutput.php and common.php files.
