OH, btw. . . where are the passwords stored? Impressive, as they remain even after I uninstall the plugin.

Oh, that's interesting. Placing it at the end actually puts it outside of the editable content. I guess my original question wasn't clear :) Should have asked, why not make it into a gadget? As that would allow it to be restricted by the administrator so not every logged in user can access is to add passwords. I think, anyways. As right now if I test with a user with nearly all privileges removed it still shows up for them to access and create a password. either way. very easy to use! 11 years ago |

Yes. I understand that on the front end of the site that the site visitor will only see it if there is a password for that particular page, otherwise nothing. I was referring to when the user is logged in to gpEasy—as it is in the content area of every page where they edit the page content. 11 years ago |

Stano, That looks great! One question. Did you want it automatically on every page or added as a gadget just to the pages that the person wants to protect? 11 years ago |

OH. . . you will have to style the '.menu_top' class for that particular menu and then the search plugin so they both fit in the same row. I have a styling gpEasy menus tutorial and a styling gpEasy Simple Search plugin tutorial but nothing on styling the search plugin next to the menu. It shouldn't be that hard as long as your menu isn't too long and pushes the search plugin over to the next row. 11 years ago |

you mean like I have on my gpEasy page? here's the CSS I used: .gpArea_Simple_Search {height: 26px; } .gpArea_Simple_Search h3 {display:none;padding:0;} .gpArea_Simple_Search input.text {width:160px; height:16px; font-size:12px; background:#ffffff; border:solid 1px #ddd; margin:2px 0 4px 0;} .gpArea_Simple_Search input.submit {width:58px; font-size:11px;color:#01203c; opacity:.2; margin:2px 0 4px 0;} The width of the 'input.text' and 'input.submit' need to be less than the width of the div you have it in. 11 years ago |

Josh, Don't know if you've realized this however, every time you publish a new blog/news entry it republishes 10 items to the feed. 11 years ago |
